Spring Black Bear Successs
We made our annual Spring Black Bear hunting trip to Alberta Canada this May and we really had a great time. This year Dr Tad Yetter came along and he was able to put his tag on a GIANT Pope and Young boar. Tad and the rest of the guys enjoyed the hunting and Pike fishing with Gunther Tondelier and Wizard Lake Outfitting. I saw a total of 22 bears while on stand and took a beautiful archery Black Bear. Deer Hunting Pennsylvania
My son, Billy was able to bag this beautiful 11 point buck at Deer Haven Lake Lodge in Shickshinny PA this year. We saw plenty of trophy caliber bucks on the property. Billy was extremely excited to see so many deer. When it came time to shoot he was calm and cool...not like his 'nervous' father! Billy made a great shot at just under 100 yards and the buck ran only about 50 yards and dropped. This is the REAL DEAL when it comes to preserve hunting! These deer live on some of the finest hunting property in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

New York Ducks
Recently The Hunt Doctor Team went to the Finger Lakes Region of New York State for an early Season Duck Hunt. We booked with our good friend Mr John Potter of Central New York Hunts and did we have a "BLAST"! Literally, we had shooting and action all morning long. Mallards and Black ducks were the most common quarry. John had the decoy spread ready right off the bat in the morning and we were done at 10am with sore shoulders! Bernie and Drew Okiniewski had a great Father-Son hunt on the shores of the "secret spot" on the lake.

Africa Hunt
African Safari success with Chattaronga Safaris in South Africa. Our group enjoyed a week long safari for Plains Game. Our host and PH Philip Kruger made this hunting and vacation experience one that we will remember for a Lifetime!

Waterfowl Success in Maryland

We shot all day from early morning until last legal shooting light. Mainly geese in the fields with some ducks coming in after the Mojo spinning wing decoys, then Mallards, Black ducks and Bluebills hit us on the water. Waterfowl Success in Central New York
The Prebola Gang had a successful Goose Hunt in Central New York on November 13, 2008. Billy and Michael were able to sit still and enjoy all the Goose action and shooting from our blind. Outfitter John Potter provided the decoys, blind, pond, and birds for our 1 day successful hunt!

Trijicon Accupoint Scope
We used the Accupoint scope on our 2007 Muzzleloader Antelope hunt in Wyoming and on this year's Muzzleloader Alberta Spring Bear hunt. The scope was comfortable, clear, and most of all, accurate! The fiberoptic light adjustment came in handy for both intense sunshine during the mid-day, and low light at dusk and early morning. The variable 3-9 power adjustment and crystal clear optics were a pleasure to use. This scope truly does allow the shooter to pick up the firearm and aquire the target instantly through the lense...even with both eyes open! This 'perk' does allow the hunter to make a quick, on-target shot, and get more trophy antlers on the wall with more meat in the freezer! The self-illuminating reticle was easy to use on all targets, even at longer distance.

THERMACELL
This product works! It is that simple. Ed Prebola used this product on an Alaskan Moose hunt last September. While he and his buddy were field dressing and quartering a bull moose they put out the Thermacell. There were hundreds of black flys and bugs all around the 2 hunters, but not a single insect came within 15 feet of the men and their job. I was a bit skeptical so I took my Thermacell up to Alberta on my yearly Spring Black Bear hunt this May. Each and every night in my treestand was much more enjoyable without the bugs and mosquitos bothering me. There was a swarm near me as soon as I arrived to my hunting location. Then I'd fire up my Thermacell, place it at my feet, and secure it to my treestand base....NO MORE MOSQUITOS! I did not have to use my headnt once during my week long hunt.
I would recomend the Thermacell to any sportsman who enjoys the outdoors in the spring, summer, and early fall when insects are the most common! This device keeps those nasty insects away from you while you sit on stand during a hunt or sit in your boat trying to fish. I never did notice any unpleasant odor and it did not both the bears at all. Our staff gives the Thermacell our highest recommenation!
